DAA Education dance workshops are designed to compliment and support all aspects of the National Curriculum. We supply a wide range of dance workshops suitable for Early Years Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2.
Workshops range from one hour to a full day and can be adapted in length according to your timetable. DAA Education dance workshops work brilliantly as part of Arts Week, Book Week and Healthy Schools Week and to further explore and enhance the learning of a certain subject and theme, such as electricity, the seasons, Chinese new year or maybe a particular story you may be looking at.
DAA Education workshops can be a one-off session or a series of workshops for your school. We could even set up a regular weekly dance class at your school at an affordable cost.
On booking a workshop, lesson plans, schemes of work, helpful information and resources for your chosen subject will be available to you. Workshops can also include props and costume.
We firmly believe that dance is an important part of education and can provide a wealth of benefits, both physiological and psychological. We are committed to ensuring children and young people have the opportunity to experience high quality dance training and have the prospect of developing their knowledge and skills to become independent, creative dancers and well-rounded young individuals.
